Som kreativ utøver vil du også måtte forholde deg til det ikke så kreative. Grafill og Blank Space inviterer til nyttige arrangement for deg som er utøver.

Showing off your work can be a scary experience. Grafill and Blank Space invites students and newly established professionals to come and learn the basics of portfolio presentations - common mistakes, helpful tips, and field specifics so that you can receive better attention from those looking at your work. There will be an overall presentation with tips from Liz Ramsey and 3 talks from professionals in specific fields: Graphic design/ Illustration, Moving Image/Animation, and Digital design. Afterwards it will be individual QA rounds with all speakers so you can get more specific feedback on what you’re curious about.
Note: This is not a portfolio review event - there will not be an interactive portion to show your work. This event is designed for students and early career artists / designers, though it is open to anyone who could use a basic refresher for how to give their work the attention it deserves. Liz Ramsey #
Liz Ramsey will begin the evening with a 30-minute overview of fundamental portfolio presentation, based off her 6+ years professional experience in gallery curation and art mentorship. She will give tips communicating easy and clear who you are, balancing commercial and personal project representation, and overall dos-and-don´ts for general practices. Liz Ramsey works as a professional weirdo who enables the artistic community to find opportunities, be challenged, and establish a healthier, stronger, and more diverse world to create in. Since founding Blank Space in Oslo over 4 years ago, Liz shares her passion for art and culture by bringing high quality opportunities direct to the people in as many ways as possible. Due to her wide experience across the creative professional world, and her hungry soul, she has developed a unique portfolio for getting things done, if not in the most traditional of ways. From festival coordination, public speaking, creative project management, art direction, design, and more - Liz's portfolio is as crazy as the people she works with.

Sam Bannister
Sam Bannister #
Sam Bannister has a lengthy background as a graphic designer. He has lead and taught graphic design programmes in Norway, Britain and China. Currently Sam heads the Motion Graphics department at Clockwork, Oslo.
Vibeke Cleaverley Rodriguez #
Vibeke is a character animator with experience from the British, American and Norwegian film and television industries. Mainly focusing on CG, she has worked on award winning projects such as Shaun the Sheep, Book of Life and Knutsen and Ludvigsen og den fæle Rasputin. She is currently working at Qvisten Animaton AS on the feature film, Kutoppen, as well as teaching evening classes at HiOA in film and web design.
